Gangs Of New York Not Playing

just finished gangs of new york cd 2..........i have used avi preview to make sure it was ok...this would not work for some reason then used kazaa preview extractor this played the 1st few mins which i got no video just audio.......

i guessed it was because there was not enough of the film so carried on downloading

today went to play now i can not get any sound or video.......gspot tells me i got everything needed codec wise and all is correct about the file size and content..

i got this from the verified so i guess it must be something wrong from my computer

I don't think AVI Preview is able to play XviD files, just DivX.

Try previewing it with VideoLAN.

have just got the latest release of the codec and played it with bsplayer it plays fine so i guess it was either the codec's or it was windows media player....

Avi preview can preview Xvid Paul. Glad u got it working "zolaisugly" its a quality film
