Been using bittorent for a while now and been very pleased with it good speeds, but recently I have been getting the dreaded yellow light problem, and crap speeds even on high user torrents. (i.e call of duty, 540 peers, my shad0w client only sees 7)
If I connect to more than 30 peers at one time my PC disconnects (1Mb NTL broadband) so I have set a maximum of 30 peers connecting, which up untill now has been just fine, so can anyone give me tips on:
1) Reasons why my PC disconnects if users connecting reaches over 30? (Heard it was something to do with network drivers)
2) Reasons why my download is so slow and why my client can't "see" all tthe peers (ie if there are 540 users and my peer connection limit is 30, shouldnt I be seing 25 peers 5 seeds or something?)
Yes I have been throttling my uploads, and my firewall is Zone Alarm. Any tips on either of these problems would be much appreciated.
I am connecting through a hub but not a router.
