i think "the artist in the ambulance" is better than "illusion of safety" by thrice. ;)

Man, to be honest I don't like that list much. Go with what Cely said, we usually have alot in common with music tastes.

thrice toured with linkin park, but are nothing like them really. they are more emo/rock/punk (in that order).

Yeah, try the album On A Wire by the Get Up Kids. You'll like that.

From what I've heard of Midtown, they were ok.

I know what you would really like HomeGrown - Act Your Age <fun surfer punk>

I'd also add Zebrahead and Boy Hits Car.

I think you'd like all of those bands.

I also think "Artist in the Ambulance" is a lot better then "Illusion of Safety" but both are excellent albums by thrice, I own both, and also "Identity Crisis" but I prefer "Artist in the Ambulance" out of all of them.
It's a must have album in my opinion.

I really like the Artist in the Ambulance album too. The vocals are really well matched with the lead guitar.

Hahah, I went to one of their shows. They were touring with a band called Vaux, one of my favorites, and it was nuts. It was me and my friend Drew. When Vaux opened up, they opened with this haaardcore song. So me and Drew started our own mosh. It was really small at first since the entire venue was packed. Everyone was all over each other.

Then it happened... earlier I forgot to double knot my shoes and they got pulled off.. that freakin sucked!

But i kept on going. One shoe and all. After the first couple of songs, I couldn't take it anymore, my foot started to bleed from under my sock [moshing without shoes isn't a good idea] so ihad to go off to the side.

Good thing I was full of aldreneline so I couldnt' feel it.

Then by the end of their set, Drew comes back over, stops in front of me and spits up blood!

It was a tiiight show. We watched from autum to ashes but all the songs sounded the same, so we made fun of them [while spittin up blood lol]

But we had to leave before Thrice came on the stage becuase Drew started feeling really bad.

So we went outside and chilledin the cool air and listened to a little of Thrice from outside. They sounded amazing.

So I threw my last shoe at the oncoming traffic and headed back to my car and went to waffle house.
