Hi There Folks. New to the board. I just can't believe it. I just logged on awhile ago and there are only 80000 users. Where are all the people? What has happened?

I guess you're talking about kazaa.
Although it's hard to believe, I haven't checked. Anyone with a clue has moved on to better p2p programs.

This is normal.

Just go File / Jump Supernode and you will be back to 2.5 million users.

Yes Broken I'm talking about kazaa lite++ and I don't see any need to be rude. People like you are the reason newbies like me feel threatened and don't post.

Hi and welcome, enjoy Your stay :)
It's true though most people use other p2p programs now, there's bigger networks now more popular and without lots of viruses that excist on the fastrack network.

...but still...except for music and new movies,it's good enough to get what you want.Just be smart enough to use verifieds and your safe ;)

But honestly,if my upload were higher than the 18Kb i have now i'ld probably be using emule all the time :(

Cool thing is my ISP did boost my upload a bit (about 5Kb more),so maybe they will keep on doing this till i can really benefit of it through emule.

Fingers crossed

Hopefully being part of the forum will insipre you on to better things.

Or, maybe you'll just get pissed off at everyone and leave.

It always changes every time you restart kazaa, it could be 5, or a billion. I've evne had it say 10 users.

Hello Puppetkiller,
If you mean people on the forum, it varies. I only visit the forum when I need info or help.
If you mean KL++, my "users online" figures, at the base of my screen, seem to be well down lately. There used to be well above 3,000,000. Now it is showing, at the time of writing, 2,855,364.
It might have something to do with timezones too, when users are able to log on or decide to log off.
My download requests in Traffic have not done anything for ages either. I think those users must have gone too. I know from details in K-Dat that some users I have requests from are in Canada.
I have Zupernoded all over the place, from Canada to Europe. Not a lot of help.
I think users are indeed on the move. They don't leave forwarding addresses unfortunately. :(
Stichting BREIN in the Netherlands has raided university campuses and I rekon that many KL++ users are fighting shy and not sharing as much. :fear2:
Methinks the reasons are multiple.
What are the better P2P programs? Try reading the reviews on a search at www.download.com.
Hopeth that this helpeth! ;)
