Does anyone know a good piece of software that would record streaming audio from the internet .. from shoutcast as well as other formats like real player etc ... into separate mp3 files and not one big block?

I know several that do this for shoutcast .. but haven't found one that would record separate mp3 files for other formats like realplayer?

Why not just download them in better quality?

Actually I found a website that streams all sorts of music in great quality .... www.smashitsusa.com (http://www.smashitsusa.com)

I'd like to get these without the hassle of dl'ing fakes and songs with screeches etc ...

Thanks .... keep the suggestions coming ..

Thats the only reason to prefer recording live stream?

You really need to let go of Kazaa and try some other p2p progs...
And try to get the complete albums they tend to be more secure then singles.
