There used to be a local mad lady who used to shout the bible at you when you walked past.

Pretty soon we walked out she went off on a rant if you shouted sinner at her

My Dad had a friend who'd occasionally say, "The smaller the mouse, the bigger the baby".

Do you think he had an unfeasibly small penis.

Perhaps the size and shape of a mouse (optical obviously).

You have to make sure the eye on those doesn't get clogged with dirt, the optical mouse that is, not the .... oh never mind.

The problem is people destroying the sayings.

It's not "cheap at half the price"

the saying is supposed to be "cheap at twice the price"

which makes sense.

It also really bothers me when people say
"I could care less..."
when what they're really trying to say is

I couldn't care less"

communication.
it's a difficult thing.

Ah, that makes sense tho, you celebrate by smoking a cigar because of winning or achieving something, if you failed but only just, you were close but get no cigar for wininng :)

Think of it this way, Jonno:

A babe in the bed is worth two at the pub.

Get it? ;)
