.mdf is a database file, not a music file.

Most likely it's simply a renamed mp3 file to mask it's true identity. Lots of hosts don't allow mp3s. So files are often renamed.

So rename it to .mp3 and try to play it.

Google with a words "File Extension".

Click the link on top, add the letters MDF in the search on that page and:

Check this out (http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=mdf) yourself.

This stuff was easy.

Apparently, it could be:

1. Alcohol 120% CD Image File
2. Capture Classic Filler
3. I-deas Master Drafting Machine Data File
4. Insight II Molecular Data File
5. Menu Definition File
6. ProWORX Nxt Memory Data

etc...

I would go for the Alcohol, as you downloaded the file, im 99% sure its that.

Google is kinda cool, is it not?
