My Friends Comp

Hey guys. My friend Michael has a comp with the following specs

AMD 64 3000
512MB PC3200
120GB HDD
9800Pro
MSI Kt800

Ok, his score in 3DMark03 is 5700, which I believe is ok for his system, but in Aquamark3, his score is only 39,000. Most people have like 46,000 with a 9800Pro.

His AA and AF are all off, and He has 4.4 Catylst. Anyone got ne ideas of what it might be?

Also, he has a thermaltake lanparty, or whatever its called with a really nice cathode...it looks awesome...doesnt matter I was just lettin yall know haha

Could be a lot of things.

Degragment, msocnfig close some programs from opening, task manager close some sutff, norton slows shit down a lot <_< , disable system restore and indexing service...

edit: scan for viruses and spyware. ;)

edit 2: You might want to try different chipset, sound, and video drivers...
