I was scared the Really Bad Weather as a kid.

Nowadays a good Thunder/Lightning show is kinda cool,
beats the hell outta MTV anyways...

:cool2:

I've had a really bad head-ache all day but as soon as the storm came it went.

I think there must be a connection.

If one drives out of town here (i am in New Mexico) on a stormy night one can see lightning dance across the skies giving a show far superior to any firework display. It's one of the few places where a view from the ground competes with the view i have often observed from the air.

I get headaches from changes in the weather too, I usually feel bad when a storm is about to break out or such, it's to do with air preassure.

I love storms, used to love sitting out on the sea on my surfboard, the waves crashing on the beach, a storm raging overhead and pissing down with rain B)
Nothing else is like that :D

Also has a habbit of making me horny

It's pretty sweet when it's raining and one is swimming, always makes the water feel warmer somehow.

Thats your Default Setting Jonno.

The other thing about them thunders is the pressure in the air
just before it starts, one could almost smell the fireworks.

And the relief when the tension is gone.

Mar-vellous.

I not only love the storms, but the anticipation as I watch it develop and plod my direction.

This painting brings back the awe and excitement an approaching story would bring when I was young and running loose on my grandmothers farm.

I can almost smell the scent of the first raindrops mixed in with the aroma of hay, the first rumble of thunder telling me I had better pick up the pace. As always my three golden retreivers would be offering support as they raced in circles around me.

Have any of you lived in tornado country?

The sky turns a pale sickly yellow, the air is pregnant and motionless, and the birds are completely silent. The fear and anticipation makes the hair on your neck stand up.

I used to hate rainy days, but since I pulled my AC to squeeze a few more horses outa my V-TEC, the cooling affect is apppreciated greatly. I love watching lightning, it's truly awsome...except for the night it blew the transformer off the pole in my back yard, scared wifey into fits.

All in all, though, I sleep best when it's raining.

Later taters,
Stormy BoNe
