Webshots Desktop Galleries

Hello Friends,
How many of you use the webshots desktop software? If you do, then you would know that most of the photos are available for download at a price and all the high res (1600 x 1200) photos are paid.

I have written a small program that can download any number of high res photos for free! I found a script on the internet that downloaded photos for free from Webshots, so decided to make a software of my own.

Every photo on Webshots has an Image ID. This software needs Image ID's to download the photos. Now let's say you visit the Webshots Gallery:

Step 1: You type in www.webshots.com
Step 2: You click on Gallery
Step 3: You click on Nature Scenes
Step 4: You click on Beaches
Step 5: Look at the URL on the IE address bar
Step 6: Copy this URL.
Step 7: Start my software, and click on From Page
Step 8: Paste the URL in the box. Click OK. Wait...
Step 9: All Image ID's on that page are listed in the Image ID's section
Step 10: Click Download 1600 x 1200 and watch them come...

All images are saved in the folder from which the program is running by default. Ofcourse, you can change it.

Since a single gallery could have more than one page(s), so you can do this for every page. On a fast connection, the photos hardly take some time to download. Once downloaded, double click the photos to add them to you Webshots software.

Can we see screenshots of your new software? I havn't seen the Webshots wallpapers, are they any good? :huh:
