One thing...i just got DSL and i have no idea what my internet connection speed is...ill just list my download and upload speeds from my internet provider...then you guys plz tell me what to put on the K++ wizard

my speeds
Downstream speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps
Upstream speeds of up to 256 Kbps

what should i put on the wizard

and one more question....how do u rerun the wizard after u closed it the first time?

In K-Lite's folder there should be a file (an .exe) named Wizard or KLWizard or whatever. Just run it. And you don't have to. In options you can set how many uploads and downloads you want to have to be run at a given time and how much bandwidth K-Lite can use.

Anything that's closest to what you have. If you still don't know give me a list of all options from the drop menu in the Wizard and i'll tell you what do do.

i would try 128 setting for upload setting (leaves room for ACKs)
there is no download limiter :P

uhh...i needa knwo two things to determine my internet connection..

on the wizard there r some options like

ADSL 256/128
is the 256 the download speed and 128 the upload speed?

and one other thing...is it 256 KBPS or MBPS?

umm..so the first one is download speed and the second one is upload speed?

the first one would be 256 in this and the second one would be 128 in this

ADSL 256/128 which is the down/upload speed?

Actually, I think when it says your DL speed is up to 1.5MBPS, it is talking about Megabits. There are 8 bits in a byte, so thats like 200kilobytes per second. So do whatevers closest to that.

i think ill put the 700 somethin one for download speed and 256 for upload speed sincemy upload speed's 256 its the download im not sure about
