um , no cause a firewall doesnt stop viruses !

just make sure your anyivirus checker is uptodate and working , the allow the p2p app full access , it will be fine and allow you to download at max speeds

iv been getting good speeds.... but suddenly my internet speed is slowing down. i ther a connection to that and ares, and please...how do i fix this?????

Just as delphin said, a firewall does not prevent viruses from entering your system. If you're nervous that you downloaded a virus, run your virus scanner.
