I have been noticing various Free Pay Tv programs on my P2P searches. The question is, is it even possible? What is the best program to use? Can you use any TV card? And is there any useful threads on how to set it up??

Descrambling cable? People still do that? And your question does not make sense.

I was wondering if I could watch pay tv online from my PC without having to pay subscription.

I am not sure about "watching pay tv online". Never heard of it.

But if you look around in the right places you could find the shows you want to watch. B)

In most versions of winamp, 2.91 up to 5.01 and some earlier versions have a section called "Internet TV"

Winamp has it's own server it calls shoutcast and you can stream video and let other people watch it who have winamp or shoutcast.

Right now the have about 12 anime movies/series streaming, 7 pr0n, 6 chinese tv!, 4 music videos, 13 trance dj cameras, some family guy, 2 james bond movie channels, and more.

Video bitrate goes from 64kbs to 1000 (it was a dvd evenescense promo stream)

They also have Internet Radio which is about 2k radio channels of probably every genre ranging from 320kb streams to 56k streams.

well the signal is encoded, so you need to decode it before you watch it......

normally you have a lil box to do that, but now you would need for your PC to emulate what that box does, then pass it on to your media player.........

of course its a safe bet that if you download that sorta stuff of kazaa youll get 3 virii, 18 trojans and 6 worms in the process...........

you would need to let your computer emulate a decoding box...........

but to write the code for such a program would require alot of programming skills (though i bet some people on this board have those skills), and knowledge of electronics.......

plus for every diffrent type of box, you would need a diffrent program.............
