Xbox Vs Ps2

I've heard different opinions on both systems...i plan on getting one or the other within a month

i mainly play action games...not any RPGs what so ever. it seems to me that a lot of games are on both systems and xbox does have better graphics...

which one should i get? both are good powerful systems but im leaning towards XBOX...still dont know for sure though

please help me everyone!

if your after better graphics get X BOX
if your after better games Get PS2
If your after better Gameplay Get PS2
If your after a console that will scratch your disk get X Box
If your after ugly controller get X BOX
If u want to spend more money on buying adapters for the internet get PS2

As what i see PS2 has more actions games then X BOX Xbox are inproving on better games and trully do have better graphics I personally have a PS2 and prefer it better for gameplay wise but both consoles are great

if you want to have more lasting fun, and more fun in general, get the PS2....xbox has nothing to offer...weelllll

besides a horrible controller, a lunky design, bad games, and almost no third party support? nothing

microsoft will never win the console wars....

not yet you don&#39;t, and dont even say its xbox exclusive, becuase they said the same thing about Halo&#33; give it a bit of time after release, PC will get it...its inevitable....PC gets everything the xbox does if it sells well...

if you were in england the price of the Gamecube just dropped through the floor and is teetering out the window: £80 last time i looked.

my opinion:
get what your mates have, otherwise you will be a outcast
-or- get the one your mates haven&#39;t got and swap every month

both have games worth playing, err but PS2 has a few more, and less fluorescent green

Maybe get a PS2. It uses PS1 games too.

PS2 has a lot of FUN games, specially for young kids.
The XBOX is great too for the adult crowd, I&#39;d like to try that "DOA Extreme BeachBall".

Get whatever you can make backup copies of (CDR or DVDR).

In two to three years, they are coming out with the newer systems anyhow. The XBOX is a PentiumIII 750 mHz processor with a 128bit OS platform. Already out dated, the football games are great&#33;

I see a lot of PS2&#39;s for sale with the usual broken problems of breaking. Look on eBay and see for yourself.

Sorry, I can&#39;t choose for you. But I prefer the PS2 because I have little kids who would enjoy it. I could play with it too, but my PC is the best game system around for me. I already have a lot of PS1 disks that the PS2 can play.


Note: I do not have the XBOX or PS2 yet, but have tried them both.

the only prublem is, that there aren&#39;t so many games developed for Xbox

If you have broadband and xbox live is available in your area than get xbox.

I know that many (most?) people will completely disagree with me, but IMO, the Gamecube is a far better console than either the PS2 or X-Box.

Yea allthough I`ve loved Nintedo, ever since I played Super Mario 1 as my first game, I guess I would have chosen x-box or ps2 simply because of the above reason. :P

-Neat blue lite
-Comes wif DVD player, no extra cost
-Has way more games, majority is very good
-Better than XBox

XBox:
-Big fat ugly controller
-Heavy as hell, u&#39;d probably need a friggin wagon to move it
-Just plain big and fat and flat
-nice orby thing
-gfx = good
-did i say UGLY CONTROLLER?
-Need an attachment for DVD playin

GameCube:
-Kicks arse
-Controller&#39;s better than all listed above
-Can connect to your kick-arse GBA (if you have one)
-Light, as in not heavy like XBox
-Cube-ish
-Comes in alotta colors (if you could get it...)
-Because its Nintendo
-Because its "da bomb"
-Because I have one :D
