Usually 7200 Rpm but newer hard drives (specifically the Western Digital Raptors) run at 10,000 Rpm.

Harddrives in the last few years have been 7200 and above. There are 15,000 rpm ones but they arent for IDE only motherbaords.

You seem to think that because we don't post in Hardware world we don't know anything about computers.

Besides who are you anyhow? There's only a few knowledgable people in Hardware world and you ain't one of them.

Lounge is full of 20-80year old fat geeks.

Hardware world, from what i've noticed over time, is an assortment of some fat geeks, and some regular kool kids. Most of the hardware world regulars (aren't many of them) are around the age of 16.

So you guys think it's kool to have 30year olds beating up 16 year olds?

So you guys think it's kool to have 30year olds beating up 16 year olds?

btw, lounge would win for sure, there's too many of you.. :(
Way to make yourself friends in the lounge. I think you'll find most of this board is around the 16 years old mark, including the lounge.

So we're all fat are we? I can see how you might get that impression if you only go by Azzz's photo...

Just proves that you are a worthless human being really, can't argue for shit so you have to post personal details. That's what Billy Dean does, aside from post pornographic pictures to under 16 year olds.

The fact that you are comfortable with revealing people's personal lives speaks volumes for your character.

And you haven't been enjoying yourself, if you were you wouldn't be trying to recruit "allies" all over the shop. Seems to me you are realising just how unpopular you have made yourself with your childish flaming.

Now stop trolling us, I couldn't give a shit if you don't like me but all you come here for is to to troll myself and danb. That is truely pathetic it will be a happy day when the mods suspend/ban you.

All of our nattering on about "which is better AMD or Intel?" and "can I really teleport live beings with my cellphone?" has just been cover to disguise our real project.

Ooook

I reckon it's pretty hard to make any kinds of generalizations about people posting in the lounge, seeing as we have people from just about everywhere talking about anything.

Last I checked a geek was someone with somewhat un-cool or unorthodox interests/appearences, unless we are talking about the original meaning in which case you just implied we enjoy biting the heads of chickens.

Also, the people who got in trouble at my school for being ~geeks were often of the kind that never saw the sun for long stretches of time, sometimes for having a somewhat exaggerated interest in d&d, sometimes for being too much into 'puters and so forth.

I think you'll find, you offensive jackass, that the people in the lounge post a lot more all over the board, than the hard-core hardware-fans.

'cos, you see, I signed up for the board, not for one section, which is why I use the different sections for the topics they are intended. It's that and the fact that I'm capable of following the rules.

In short, way to insult the board.

And while I'm at it, I post regurlarly in Hardwareworld too.

Close, but no banana.

The word karate is a combination of two Japanese characters: kara, meaning empty, and te, meaning hand; thus, karate means "empty hand." Adding the suffix "-do" (pronounced "doe"), meaning "way," i.e., karate-do, implies karate as a total way of life that goes well beyond the self-defense applications. In traditional karate-do, we always keep in mind that the true opponent is oneself.

[/b][/quote]
