I can understand that 14 people have the entire file, but what does the number next to copies mean?

that there are "2.968 Distributed Copies" between all the peers you are connected 2.

EDIT: so even if all "SEEDS" leave you would still be able to finish the torrent
cause there's almost 3 full copies among peers
