Voice Recording Over Music

Ive been looking for a program to record a midi song and a microphone recording at once and have had no sucess. I found programs that record voice, and others that record the song being played ( in a program like media play) but not both at once.

Im looking for a program like this because me and my friends are mucking around making songs and want the voice to be in time with the music.

if i am understanding you correctly you want to record a midi input and a mic input together on one track or two seperate tracks? i think cubase sx can do that. you dont want to lay the midi track down first then the vocal track though? might be easier that way.

nah i want to record them together, putting the voice over in the right time of the song is difficult when done seperately
