After not being able to get the thing to complete i finally sorted that but now i am having more probs has not come through as a bin/cue file only plays for 30 seconds on video lan and wont play on normal media player can anyone help me is this just a bad file or what? how can i burn it for instance. Also dont know whether it means anything to any of you guys it also has two cd files and for each one there is a notepad file however there is nothing within these notepad files?

I don't understand what you are saying.
It is a bin and cue file and you don't know what to do?

What kind of file is it?

As i'm sure you know, anything that will play will play on VideoLan.
I was just wondering what file format it was. The only other suggestion I can give is that if the place you downloaded it from was a forum, ask the person that created the file what's wrong with it. Then if you can't get satisfaction, report them to a mod. for putting up fake files. Maybe they will get banned, and the torrent will be removed.

I'd really guess this came off suprnova, in the case find the torrent again and see if there isn't a link to where the torrent can from. It will usually be the last thing in the information line and just say link. If you can, do the.

Like Broken asks, give us the EXACT filename(s) (all of them please) and we can probably point you in the right direction.

Looks like a bad file to me. There is only one lone leecher and no seeders as of now.

Do you have the XVid codec installed? It doesn't come as standard and Mplayer will not download it automatically. If you don't go to Divx Digesthere (http://www.divx-digest.com/) and download it.
