Why Doesn't My Dreamcast Backup Work?!

I downloaded Illbleed off of Suprnova,

It's a 700meg MDF file and a small MDS file which i assume are basically img and cue, now I goto Alcohol (hadn't used it before) goto Image burning wizard and add the MDS and the MDF file and burn, then I put the Utopian boot Cd into my DC, swop the cd with this copy and it doesn't work!

Help?

did you try just using the Illbleed disc without the Utopia loader?

most dreamcast rips do not require the Utopia disc. most of the Utopia-compatible ones were distributed in the few months after they first figured out how to copy games. after that, nearly all of the games were hacked in order to run without the aid of a separate boot disc.

Should I maybe try burning the cd with just the MDF file and not the MDS one?

I don't want to go through another CD and waste it, can any of you help me out?
