i'm just about to sell stuff on ebay UK and was wondering if paypal take a certain % cut of what i my buyer pay if they pay via paypal. the only thing i can find is that they will charge .25p to withdraw less than £50 and free for £50 or over.

I think eBay take something, but paypal just take the 25p.

They make their profits in other ways

Beware guys!! there's a scam going on right now, don't answer any emails from Paypal without checking with them first.
i got an email from Paypal saying '' important!!....you need to update your Paypal account please fill in the following form before 20th July or your account will be closed''.
i was suspicious right away because the email went into my junk folder.
i emailed Paypal immediately, and they replied within an hour saying 'do not enter any details on this form because the email did not come from us, if you have entered details get back to us immediately and change your password username and secret question'
Paypal are looking into this scam <_<

That scam has been ongoing for years, and isnt confined to PayPal.

You should never follow a link from a financial organisation supplied in an email, and fill in your details,

No reputable organisation will send you an email with a link to a form.

At most they will ask you to contact them in your usual manner.

I regularly get scam emails claiming to be from citibank, barclays, natwest... amongst many others.
