Antivirus/windows

i was talking with some fellow geeks and learned that norton and mcafee
signed a deal with M$ that said if they find a hole or a virus for with
windows they will let M$ know about it a give them 90 day to fix it before they
reless a patch, :blink: but AVG didnt sign that
is this true?

Welll, if it is true, which i highly doubt, then there&#39;s another reason not to use norton. :angry: (or mcafee) <_<

Absolute bullshit.
If you think about it for just one minute you&#39;ll conclude that viruses spread so fast that such an idea would be preposterous.
Why would anyone suggest that AVG didn&#39;t similarly enter such an agreement? To infer that AVG has more up-to-date definitions? Why not also mention Trend, Avast or Panda?
