But shouldn't it be: Warning: Never pay for filesharing. Anyone who charges is a scammer!

I don't think the site has direct control over what ads appear in the little ad box at the top of the screen. Anyone that's been here for awhile should know better than paying for p2p technology. Even without the little warning.

I still think it would look better like this and also frees up some space...

@danb...if i didn't click on the link it would not generate money and brian has to pay for the hosting himself.

Clicking the link is fine, commendable even. Danb warned against clicking the links like a doofus.

Meaning doofuses (or doofii) may be inclined to click the links and then pay $20 for a copy of KaZaa :P

You do have the option of adding URLs to a blacklist.

Yeah I know I can add them to a blacklist. In fact I have been adding them frequently. I stopped because there is basically no end to the # of possible scammers out there. And put the Warning there instead.

Click the link if you'd like, it helps Brian pay for the board, but don't ever pay for anything related to filesharing.

id be curious as to how much he makes off those ad's
I know people that make 150 to 300ish a month off google, & herd of people in "web rings" that would make more that a grand with some cleaver redirects but seems google is cracking down on TOS violators

there is a trend here (http://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=119021&st=0&#entry1087984) that talks about how to spot scam p2p sites. Maybe you can pin a topic listing the signs of a scam P2P site.
