I got three versions of Neverwinter Nights Cd1.

One is 301 MBs.
One is 170 MBs (Myth Version).
Another one is 360 Mbs.

The myth version shows an error in the "CRC failed in Neverwne.c08"
The other versions shows an "textures_tpa.erf" crc error.

Any suggestions?

Could be corruption. Redownload the files. If you really want the game, use eMule, as it has error correction.

There is not a file that weight 600 mbs...

Can't use Edonkey, Emule or Overnet. I am behind a school firewall, but for reasons I can connect to kazaa lite.

Do I really need the .cue file?

Does anybody here downloaded Neverwinter nights and it's playing it?

No, you don't need the .cue file. Just the .bin/.iso. .cue files do help in the burning process, though.

There isn't much you can do but download again and hope for the best. CDmage might be able to help you a bit, but I'm not certain if it will restore the whole thing to uncorrupted goodness.

After reading on one of the sections of this forumn that emule would not give corrupt files, I downloaded the bastard hoping to get all the games I couldn't on kazaa. I tried (and succeeded after about a week) twice to download Splinter Cell off of emule, and both times got bin files that did not burn correctly (I checked the .bin files with isobuster and instead of finding various files in .zip, .exe etc formats, when I tried to view them, I found just one file in "track" format).
Distraught and disheartened I returned like a prodigal user to Kazaa, seeking out the almighty "uncorrupted files". That was a week ago. Now I have all three verified cds of Splinter Cell.
I think pausing the downloads when downloading from Kazaa really does reduce the probability of corrupted downloads...provided the user you are downloading from does not have a corrupted file B)

Hence, I think it is only fair to say that pretty much across the board, as far as experience has shown me, Kazaa rules for Now ;) !
