Best Mp3 Player?

I was thinking about getting a 4th generation ipod but after looking at other MP3 players like the Archos AV380 I don't know what one to get. I would like a color screen, FM radio and 80GB HDD which the ipod doesn't have. The Archos does but it is bigger which I don't really like. What should I get?

if you dont get an iPod i'm going to slap you. dang i shouldv'e waited like 1 more month then i couldv'e gotten the 4th generation 20 Gig ipod for the same price...

archors vs ipdo, ipod wins..but if u add iriver,creative..it gets really harder...

I bet you just want a hd player to show off and stuff, then then the ipod is for you...

What program do you guys use to convert your music to MP3 with?
Do you use the I-Tunes one that comes with I-Pod or a different one?
Is I-Tunes any good at converting?

:o it would take me longer than 4 days to play 40 gig never mind choose and upload 40 gig worth of music
