:rtfm: Can i upgrade my Dell PC Dim8100 P4/1.3ghz cpu to P4/3.2ghz/HT Technology.
My PC
Intel® Pentium®Pentium 4 CPU 1300Mhz
memmory > 640mb of ram
OS > winXP-Home/sp1
Bios > xp02
Display Adaptor > NVIDIA GeForce2 MX
System Board> Intel® 82801ba LPC Interface-Controller-2440

You would have to see if your motherboard is compatible with that type of processor you want to upgrade to. ;)

Probably not that cpu is pretty old so that means the motherboard is probably old.

nahh that motherboard most likely only supports 400mhz and 533mhz fsb p4's and the 3.2 is 800mhz so it's won't work.
