Why does it always fluxuate by about a million users everytime? One minute there are over 2million people online, the next its under 100000 people.

If you had searched the forum, you would know. Use the search option, likely the question has been already answerd.

It's because (as in my knowladge based on few posts on this board and an article or two, i think it was Slyck) the number of SuperNodes is unsufficient to sustain the network. Jumping SuperNodes helps, you may also wait some time and it'll be resolved by itself.
