I use KazaaLite K++ 2.4.4Nsane (http://nsane.twizt3d.com/)

I ve already used: Edonkey, Emule, Imesh, DC++, BitTorrent, BearShare... and the things that made me choice K++ are:

1. Dont crashes easilly;
2. Easy to use;
3. Dont uses too much memory;

But:

1. Fake files;
2. Dont have many files;

Well I'm just about put off by P2P altogether. :angry:

I've trying to download a particular MPEG video all day. I used KL 2.4.3, Shareaza 2.0.0, and LimeWire Pro 4.0.7, which (if it connects to a host), downloads the file for a while, then I get that "Waiting for Busy Hosts" crap. Neither KL, nor Shareaza even find what I'm lookin' for.

It's not working. I typed Lacuna Coil - Swamped, and pressed ENTER...nothing. I can't even tell if I'm connected.

I change my option... Now I use K-lite... The best!!! Multitabbed search, no ads, tools...
Dont crash easily, simple to use... :D

K++ crashes all the time.... :huh:
KMD <_<
Ive tried dc++ and I dont like it....
Same to Bittorrent - too complicated....
Never tried Ares (people say that is good to music, but I want one that is good for sharing any kind of file)

Somebody could make a poll to find the best version. One best for music only. Another best for movies... Best for rare files; best for programs, best for all kinds and so on...

I saw a site in Brazil and the results:
1. K++
2. KLR
3. Dont have.

The moderators of the site should do a guide of p2p programs showing the popular p2p programs currently available. ;)

Thats all folks :D

I disagree.

Connecting to only 2-3 hubs does not provide files I need. It actually barely has files with musltiple sources. Not talking about rare files ...

1-k-lite
2-xolox
3-kmd 2.7 (be ware of the ads) (contains auto supernode jumper)

I think this question is a good one.

But when people say that such and such program is good for rare files they must be cracked. !

If a program is good for rare files then surley it mujst be the bets overall as that means it must have lots of users, some of whom have rare fiels shared !

By the way Ares does handle images and videos and it does not have any/many fake music files.

I disagree, connecting to more than 3 hubs will cause problems and it WON'T effect the sources you download from. For more info see thier forum.
There is no point of getting 10000 sources if I'm getting a speed of 23 KB/s from one source. Also it is not true that there are not many sources to download from.

For ED2K you can only connect to 1 server, but you can have 10000 leafs in it, so the #
of hubs isn't a measure of anything ;)

EDIT: to support my answer, here is a search done for "final countdown" song. Note that I am only connected to one G2 hub.
