Norton System Works 2003

I downloaded NSW 03 and it works fine but I got two little problems.
1st when xp starts it goes to the folder where NSW is and loads that folder.
2nd when i shut it down a pop up window appears closing explorer.exe down.

As you see its not a major thing but very annoying.
Any help would be much appreciated.

go to the options menu and make sure u don't have Nsw start up ticked
