If you know anyone that owns the game it's easier just to borrow it.

The latest official patch removes the DVD check. Very considerate of them I must say! :P

Depends. I feel I have more control using the BitTornado client.

What speed internet connection do you have?
Do you have a router?
Do you have Windows XP? If so is the firewall running?
Do you live in us? (for a speed test if needed)

I used to have this prob. Cant remember what the fix was... didnt work for me anyways. But when I re-installed XP me connection doesnt seem to shut down anymore. Try limiting the # of peers to connect to in settings. Set it to like 60.

there bin and cue files and i dont want to put them on disc thats a last resort. when i exract the files from disc one there is a setup for unreal but about 1/4 through installation it asks for disc 2, i extract that but there is only a autorun and that doesnt do anything when i click it, so can you tell me what to do?

just mount the cue files using daemon tools. each time it tells u to insert the next disk, then u have to unmount the current cue, then mount the next cue file.
this is exactley like using disks.
