...but that&#39;s highly unlikely seeing that if she&#39;s ugly then the chance of me getting to know her brain is severely diminshed.

I&#39;ll take a beautiful woman that is not necessarily an Einstein but at the very least shares my outlook on life and raising kids.

I&#39;m smart, but I ain&#39;t much to look at, and I&#39;m fine with it. I&#39;m 14, but I look like I&#39;m 10 LOL. I still get into the movies as a child (10 and under). It kinda sucks though. I&#39;m used to not being good looking, so I prefer being ugly but smart. By the way, I&#39;m male. Wait, this thread about what we prefer for ourselves right? Cuz some people are answering it as what they would want in a relationship. I need a happy medium. I.E. sure the girls in my grade (Sophomore) look good, but they have to be some of the dumbest people I have ever seen. I mean seriously how do you mistake a submarine for a whale (looonnngg story)? They&#39;re so shallow, too. Can&#39;t stand being around people like that.

Thing is, in others I like intelligence.

But in myself, there are times I wouldn&#39;t mind being dumb(er). A lot of the people that seem the most content with the way things are aren&#39;t very quick, or so it seems to me. An&#39; if I was really really pretty too, I&#39;d be getting things my way to some extent automatically. I&#39;ve seen it happen often enough

I think I am with Snny on this...sometimes wish I was thick then I wouldn&#39;t know when people were being subtly mean, and therefore wouldn&#39;t get upset. Also, could be happy in a simple job with no stress....ahhhhhh heaven. :)

As for looks, I find that nice and intelligent, but not necessarily beautiful people get better looking the more you get to know them.

The reverse is also true...(with you there Dwells) I wonder if the beautiful people find getting what and where they want so easy that they have no need to develop a personality? <_<

Of course, these are sweeping generalisations....but then so were the requirements to answer Gemby&#39;s question.

Having said all that...I guess that if I am honest, I would still go for brains rather than looks every time....chiefly because, lets face it....looks fade a lot quicker than brains.... :D
