Probably better off getting the Reloaded one, as any copy protection should have been removed...the first one is just some guy who bought the game and clone-cd it himself...

Yes the game works on cards lower than geforce fx 5200s so yup
Lowest supported ATI: Radeon 8500
Lowest supported Nvidia: Geforce 3 64mb

yup bought it b4 it&#39;s even out, best buy of course, bought it on the 31st :D (yesterday). and can i say it was worth every freakin penny, i have absolutely no regret watsoever about the purchase of this game, iD has done it again. damnit, can&#39;t find servers on MP :( maybe i&#39;ll wait a while. keygen+crack+cheats?? damn these guys are fast to release it. :)

iD really know the meaning of optimization. i got a 2.2 ghz OCed at 2.8 ghz (the other processor didn&#39;t work out, heatsink messed it up bad, real bad). 1 gb ram PC3200, geforce fx5200 <_< (that&#39;s where the bottleneck is) and a 120 gig hDD on a really old mobo. but i still play at 800x600 with medium quality with some things turned off (such as AA and AF, and sometimes specular lighting [SL] bcuz SL kinda slows it down to 25 fps, but that&#39;s still playable). all in all i&#39;m getting 39 fps avg. capped at 60. this game not only looks good but runs so smoothly.

yup should work on pretty much any rig (worked even on my friends 1 ghz machine LMFAO, the min is supposed to be 1.5 if i remember correctly)

medium quality with 90% Special Effects on and at 800x600 very fast and smooth ,

i tried to go to 1024x768, fps dropped to avg rate of 34 fps (not bad at all considering most games are capped/locked at 30 fps). also tried to go to "high quality", bumped me down to the 20-22 fps range.

OMFG&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; That was the best 1hr 30 minutes in a long ass time. The best quality/perfromance I got was medium settings @ 800x600. I tried going at 1024x768, but experienced some FPS decrease. I haven&#39;t tried high settings yet, but i&#39;m sure it&#39;ll drastically screw my FPS. Even at low settings it looks beautiful. I was playing it in the dark, made me jump at least 2 - 3 times.

being so stupid".Well b1narystar, unfortunately you are a nobody in the
scene and we are somebodys who are just pulling people&#39;s legs, so I would

Anyway, yes, for those who have not figured it out yet, these releases are
jokes, intended to be funny and pointless.Yes, we are using keygens and
just letting them run for like 15 minutes to generate these massive files
that have no point.We find it amusing, do you?

There is a setting that you can use to turn the brightness up. Just cant you cant adjust a setting doesnt mean the game sucks. Have a nice long wait for Halo 2 btw ;)

Nah the imp bit is seperate, I think the security guard bit wasn&#39;t scripted, I just missed him in his dark corner as I killed everything else...ran over to the side, reloaded, heard something ratlle, turned round and he had a shotgun pointed at my face and roared...3 secs later I was dead. :D

The AI is pretty good, guards take cover, imps run of walls, and zombies.....make zombie sounds and run towards you but hey, thats what they&#39;re meant to do&#33; :D

His PDA is in the room with the doom 3 symbol carved into the ground. I can&#39;t remember exactly where it is at though. That&#39;s the best I can help you.

how do you get there? the only way i can go is back the way i came (and i did go that way and ended where you gotta jump down from that ventilation shaft where the guy is hiding). i&#39;m still in the room with the "safe" and the locked door that leads to the alpha lab (i also found a much larger door that also leads to the alpha lab but thats a dead end). i&#39;m getting frustrated because i just cant seem to find a way out. wonder how long till walkthroughs hit the net :lol: ? oh and how do you display FPS? i can&#39;t get that com_drawfps 1 command to work in the console (it gives me an error unknow command). i don&#39;t want to use fraps because it slows down gameplay and i don&#39;t have much ram, infact i have a bare min. (actually below min.) machine running at 1.2 ghz 384 mb ram and a geforce fx5200, but its still smooth in most areas. so any help? anyone (please)???

Use Fraps. You can get it off suprnova.org, if you use Bittorent.

dl&#39;d d3 in less than 2hrs. Played it and it is definately tha shiznit...I thought that it wouldn&#39;t run smoothly on my rig, but thankfully it did. I play on medium quality 1024x768 and it still looks like the best graphics on my pc i&#39;ve seen. Played far cry, but that was a far cry from being the best lookin game....at least on my pc.
I can&#39;t imagine what it would look like in Ultra quality. Anybody have any screenshots of Ultra quality??

lol, just to see ultra quality and stuff, i maxed everything out, and i mean everything that i can, all the SETTINGS (MAXED)&#33;. and it took so long to load and when i got in the game, it was soooo chunky. but it looked gorgeous.
