Doom ]|[ is a download for me. Mainly because I think 4 player online play sucks. I will most definetlly enjoy this game, I just wasn&#39;t as hyped for it as everyone else. Not to many games get me hyped. Except for Halo 2, which I will spend every free second I have looking at screenshots, praying someone will steal the beta version and put it on the internet. Maybe one of the reasons I never got involved in the DOOM ]|[ hype is because I didn&#39;t like it much when I played it 4 or 5 months ago.

Yeah, I think the suckiness of the Alpha is what turned me away from it. And I was afraid that my system wouldn&#39;t be able to run it. There were parts when I was getting seconds per frame, despite the fact it was running at 640x480 with everything Low, LOL. But, even with sucky AI, it was still pretty darn scary&#33;

yup :D alpha basically chewed my comp out and spit it out which is now a black spot on my driveway <_< :( newho cuz of that i upgraded :D i sertioulsy cannot wait, i called futureshop but then realized they&#39;re closed (Damnnation) :angry:

And I would the stores would be closed, it&#39;s 1:40 AM here on the east coast. I&#39;m looking at the Doom ]|[ screenshots now, ewven the screenshots are scary&#33; Well, the fact thqat it&#39;s 1:40 AM might have something to do with the scaryness. This looks a lot scary then any game I&#39;ve played, I played Resident Evil 0 at 11 PM and it didn&#39;t scare me (much :ph34r:).

true, but sometimes (k most of the time) i get a ban on the bandwidth (from torrentbits) u know the red writing at the bottom of the client (tracker something).

it&#39;s official, doom3 is now being sold (iD lied to us bastards, oh well) at walmart and such ( http://malican.freeservers.com/main.html ) head over to http://www.planetdoom.com and on their forums a lot of ppl have it, infact half of the ppl, no wait, 98% of the ppl that have it live in idaho (wtf, i do not think this is a coincidence) and out of that 98% 100% bought it from the ammon walmart (or something like taht,can&#39;t rememver spelling). the first link = 1600x1200 pics of doom3 ingame shots, lucky idahoians&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

The pictures of the cd case with the cd&#39;s look fake to be honest, wht recent PC games come in aa jewel case, it would be a dvd case no doubt :smilie4: .

Go get it from BestBuy and play it.
Pay for it when it comes out at where you pre-ordered.
Take that sealed copy and return it to bestbuy, using the receipt from the copy you purchased there.

and that&#39;s not a bad plan at all DWells55, i just mite try it. lol, no u know how i felt when i was triple posting yesterday (coffee)

You can see it was pulling in around 35 FPS @ Medium qual 1024x768. Now because of your weaker processor, and inferior memory (Corsair XMS is nice stuff especially a gig of it) you&#39;ll get around 10 FPS less than that system, so 25 FPS average or so. 25 FPS is close to 30, which is very playable. So it&#39;ll be a little skippy, but it will look darn good. If you really need 30, turning off specular lighting should bump up your FPS to 30. With that nice sound system of yours you will have a very nice gaming experience.

Missed the sound card question. Your two channel sound card will only use the front two speakers of your sound system. Oh, and the subwoofer. It may use the other 3, but this would merely be mirroring th esound of the front two, not true 5.1 channel sound. If it does not use the other 3, when you crank up the system all the way, it may slightly quieter than if you were utilizing all of the speakers. I highly recommend you save up the &#036;75 for a Audigy 2 ZS, great sound card. 24 bit sound support, and it will take full advantage of your speakers.

If you just want somehting right away, try the SoundBlaster Live&#33; 5.1. It will tkae full advantage of the speakers, just not in 24 bit. It will still sound great. Fully Dolby 5.1 support also. If you&#39;r elucky you cna get one on eBay for around &#036;35.

BTW, I wish I had a consistent job at &#036;6.50 an hour. Too young to get a job. I babysit for &#036;10 an hour but it&#39;s been a month since I&#39;ve babysat.

I&#39;d be walking home with &#036;100 in my pocket and a full stomach thanks to the &#036;20 he always leaves to order pizza for the two kids (God bless Domino&#39;s 3 medium pizzas for &#036;15 deal).

Deviance and Vengeance are basicly the same thing now. Anyways they&#39;r ejust a lot more reliable. And they do a good job getting stuff to work with patches and such. And with my good source (which I&#39;m still semi-unsure if I can disclose), the game at 1.5 GBs, downloading at 200 KB/s, will only take 2 hours or so.

Deviance and Vengeance are basicly the same thing now. Anyways they&#39;r ejust a lot more reliable. And they do a good job getting stuff to work with patches and such. And with my good source (which I&#39;m still semi-unsure if I can disclose), the game at 1.5 GBs, downloading at 200 KB/s, will only take 2 hours or so.

I&#39;m supposedly 3 Mbit down and 256 up, but it actually averages to 3.3 Mbit down and 200 up. BTW Singa, post something over at our forums instead of viewing the GameTorrents subForum.

Edit: I dunno what FS is. FT then. Wasn&#39;t sure if I could say it, as the thread I made had mixed replies.

as you can see we were given no real explanation, but is probally quite obvious.

myself and mr-c are very dissapointed about what has happened as we had very good assurances about being shut down from the host and they had their eyes wide open when we subscribed to them.

This leaves us with little choice but to close down the site on TUESDAY and we feel that it may be for some time this time, as this was a lucky find last time.

Finding a host is going to be a mammouth task and to be honest we dont know where to begin looking now, as most avenues have already been explored.

However we will continually strive to find a host and admin and mods that are gonna ride this with us will be hanging out on filesoup.com in the meantime at least. Our irc channel will continue to be open and can be found by first downloading mirc client from mirc.com and installing it. then go to this link irc://irc.p2pchat.net:6667/POTUK

we are at least going to find a host to hold out fron page www.potuk.com and you will be able to contact us there in some way or another.

One way or another. WE WILL BE BACK. Just a matter of time

on a final note lets hammer this server to hell in the next few days. Im urging you to post as much of your torrents as possible to suprnova. lets see how much this tracker can really handle (it will be up slightly longer than the forum too, so your downloads should finish ok)

btw, my new best friends are the guys at best buy hint hint, i don&#39;t knwo if other best buys are selling em now, but i was tipped off by 2 friends of mine + many many other ppl on the planetdoom forum. seems like idoha got it first :)

3:48 am? lol, i bought it at around 5-6ish pm (don&#39;t really remember i was out, and spamming on this site like crazy from the laptop :D ) some problems wit my speakers came up, so i didn&#39;t install it until i fixed em (got home at around 12 am). after fixing em, i decided to hold out for a while b4 installing, just waiting for the rite "mood" and everything to be quite. as i type i&#39;m cancelling "processes" from the task manger to ensure smooth gameplay, wish me luck fellas :D

Groups upload the games to webpages that only people who have premission can enter, it hd every game movie music album etc etc seconds after release, maxes you out, i know sdomeone who is doing 600+kb/s on doom 3 from one right now. There very exclusive, you have to know people, have connections.

first of all i&#39;d like to say "HAHAHAHAHA, i&#39;m the first one here to play this and all i have to say is this, iD is god and so is john carmack." i gotta go get somethign to eat, take a shit then get back to playing, the graphics are leave me speechless, u can actually see specs of dust floating around :o , all the upgrades were worth it&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; thsi game owns everything else and i mean it (and for the last tme i&#39;m not a doom fanboy, i&#39;m just estatic about this game and others HL2 and halo2 to name a few). SEE YOU LATER SUCKERS AHAHAHAHAHA, i&#39;ll post some screenies and see if i can get FRAPS to make a short ingame movie, just for u guys awwwww :)


P.S. i just shit my pants from the aftershock of actually playing the game, and no, i haven&#39;t encountered demons as of yet (only 5 min. into game)

Hopefully you should be able to use daemon tools, the release groups will hopefully disable anti cd-emulation protection. I know that the retail version doesn&#39;t like daemon tools being installed, so heres hoping.

No one does it correctly when i make a image i do it with Alcohol 120% and it gets rid of protection and i don&#39;t need to cracks to play the copied games why do the online rippers need a crack

Why not use Alcohol 120% and just put the images on the net and ppl can burn the games to disc find a keygen for the game and run it asa normal game.

No the one on Suprnova is not Reloaded, stop downloading it. Wait untill Doom.3 -RELOADED is on suprnova thats the bets one with crack and serial.

Reloaded Release on Suprnova....i&#39;d give it 4-6 hours max.

Yes reloaded is with the crack and keygen all togethe rbut its a real release the others were cline cd&#39;s and will stop being traded (Uploaded + downloaded)

He he im getting it where thes 1 seed (Soon to be 2 more) and 4 peers going amazxingly fast, and the seeds have like 100kb/s upload&#33;

TB system doesnt suck, stop leeching aand upload more then you will get what you want early.

YES&#33;&#33;&#33; i see it, i&#39;m downloading, yES&#33;&#33; YAY&#33;&#33;&#33; only 10 kb/s though, and it is going down, but i&#39;m still happy, as long as the tracker doesn&#39;t go down :)

Well thats it. This version has it all the crack and everything

But why don&#39;t release groups do what i do.

Alcohol 120% removes protection when u make copy disc to PC if u know the protection and no Crack is needed it will play if u burn the images u made with Alcohol 120% and put the burnt discs into a pc and install and fid a CD-Key from somewhere it will play like a normal game.

I did it with call of duty

I copied a friends with Alcohol 120% and it runs lieka normal game i did not need a crack ot play it.

But i am still confused

For example call of duty again

I downloaded the devience version and it needed a NO-CD crack to run. Why did they do it that way. Why not the way i did it.

cloned is the thing i am on about i think so all u need is a cd-key
