Hey guys, This is pretty 56k Friendly.

As you know, Mattesca and I have decided we wanted to build him a really nice system. We wanted it to overclock very well and to get some great results.

Specs:
AMD Mobile 2400XP 35watt CPU
Abit NF7-S Rev.2
OCZ 2X256Mb PC3200 2-2-2-5
120GB WD HDD
Thermalright SP-97
800watt Speaker System
Soundblaster Live 5.1
17' NEC LCD
Nvidia GeForce FX5600 256MB
52X32X52 CD-RW
Antec 400watt PSU
Chieftec black w/ silver bezel Matrix Series
5 Blue LED 80mm fans.

Parts in red are the new parts we bought, the other parts we got from his old PC.

At first we went with the Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe, but that board just wouldnt work well with the Mobile CPU, so we sent it back and got the Abit, which works amazingly.

Without wanting to seem a little picky, can you explain why the "after" tests were run on Dec 31, 2003?

Thanks.

@Clocker, what do you mean beauty panel? The black pannel is made of black posterboard

@Lynx, im sure we didnt have the date set right haha

@Angel, cooling is very good. Heatsink gets a little hot on the heatpipes, but speedfan reports 47C under full load

Thanks for the compliments,

Well done with it 47 is good for fan cooling. On full load my stays at 55'C with my heatsink fan not going over 2500RPM it can go up to 3600RPM it only did that before i got my exhaust and intake fans. I am working on a side fan as well do they make much of a difference.

mattesca

well I dont use the side fan, i think it would block the cool air coming from the bottom fan to much

The side fan on his case blows at the GPU more then the CPU...We will prob try it sometime to see if it makes much difference, but he decided that 2.5 is fine for him and so have I...the sucker flies lol.
