Hi, Why Is Bt So Slow

Again, Why is bittorrent so slow,
I started downloading ¨V The Series¨
and it say that the remainig time is
111 hours 32 min 19 sec,
why,
can I do someting about it?

Bittorrent itself is fine. What matters is the website you get it from. FOr instance Suprnova, when there are 2 seeds and 40 peers. That would mean you are only getting 1/40th of each seed's bandwidth, plus some from the peers who have the parts you need. Still, that's not much. It all depends on the number of peers, the number of seeds, and the the quality of the tracker.

yeah it depends on the number of seeds and peers and the ratio of seeds/peers. Another thing that can make it really slow is if the indicator light/led/face is yellow instead of green as this may mean that other people are having trouble connecting to you & that you may have to do port forwarding. (Search the forum or look in the bittorrent tips section for more info)

Reduce your upload rate til you find where it doesn't choke your download... ;)
