alright im trying to get more info on useing and improving computers.
1st.what info do i need to give you,so i can overclock my cpu
2.how long is it ok to leave on my computer?[my room is quite cool]
thats all i can think of right now.try to keep your A simple. :D

2. As long as you have adequate cooling on your PC then there is no harm in leaving it on 24/7. Mine has been on since Febuary, only being turned off for upgrades and rebooting.

Unless you are one of those hippy types and worry about the environment and stuff... ;)

Make and model of the motherboard, CPU info and current temps would be a good start.

MBM5 (http://mbm.livewiredev.com/mbm5add.html) can be set up to execute the shutdown at any temp you wish.
Also, many motherboards have thermal protection programs built into BIOS.

After looking at the users manual for your board it would appear that you don&#39;t have ANY options to overclock your chip.
