I know this is pointless, but I'm bored. Do you pronounce 'Kazaa' as Kuh-zaah' or Kah'-zuh? (And excuse me if this has already been discussed here, I must have missed it)

I refuse to call it kuh-ZAHH. It sounds stupid, like Shazam! or something.

I chalk it up to regional dialect, but every single person I know here in NY State pronounces it KAH-zuh.

Just sounds phonetically cooler than the other version.

Though anymore I just say k-lite anyway of course.

You hit the nail right on the head, SJ. I think most people know it's supposed to be Kuh-zahh', but they don't want to sound like they're doing a magic trick, so they intentionally mispronounce it as Kah'-zuh.

Captain Marvel was a comic book superhero who was a regular dude but when he said "Shazam!" he turned into Captain Marvel.

If saying "kuh-ZAH" would turn me into Captrain Marvel I would then pronounce it as such, but since it doesn't I'll stick with my intentionally mispronounced version.

I agree as well. My friends all say it that way and it really is annoying.

I pronounce it kaZA 'cause there's a word in Russian like that and it means a female billy goat (although spelt koza - KO3A), therefore, i am just used to the word more than to the word KAza.

I prefer Ka'-zuh. The other way sounds too foriegn.
