in a passport photo does the background HAVE to be white or could it be slightly grey, or some other light colour??

It doesn&#39;t matter what colour the background is on your passport, gemby. Provided you have some blue in at least one article of clothing. It can even be like a hair ruffle or something, as long as it&#39;s blue.

I think it has to be white otherwise they wont accept it.

When you send it off tell them you need it quite quickly then they will process it faster.

Clear and of good quality

Identical

Printed on normal photographic paper

Unmounted 45mm x 35mm in size

Full face (without sunglasses and normally without a hat unless the applicant wears a head covering due to their religious beliefs or their ethnic background, which is acceptable)
