Those controls don`t seem to work very well in other browser other then Internet Explorer

Example: You can't hi-light a word and click bold to add the bold tags around it. Same thing with all other buttons.
You also can`t click on a button without that tag being added to the end you your post.
thoes BB Codes places at last line in firefox, use BB code Extension To Slove the problem.

Adds BBCode to the context menu for PHPBB based forums like Mozillazine. Based on Cussers pastequote extension.

BBCode is helpful but i doesn't actually fix the problem, just a nice alternative
btw your tags should look like this:
[color=orange]BBCode is helpful but i doesn't actually fix the problem, just a nice alternative[/color]
[b]BBCode is helpful but i doesn't actually fix the problem, just a nice alternative[/b]
etc

Have you checked the "allow sites to install software" options?

When you make a post, highlight the text you want to format, then right click anywhere in the input field.
Choose BBCode from the context menu, then the formatting option you want to use.
There ya go.
As to the actual topic Title
I agree
it is a Bug
an unnecesery one
What's the problem?
It works fine for me, just remember to close the tags.
Edit: oops, misunderstood. I've never used IE for this board so I've never tried that method. Are you sure it is a bug in Firefox and not just some poor HTML code?
