That's very illigal and they will start to put more heat on you.. i'd watch out.
;) do you have $200? better to get it out of the way instead of confrontation with them.

Get rid of all there software on your computer for a start, then load software for another internet service. Only answer i have maybe others can offer better.

there is no way around what they are doing.

your internet connection goes through their servers first before going anywhere else.

consequently, they control what you can and [obviously] what you cannot do on the internet.

outside of that, pay your bill you loser. you'll only hurt your credit if you don't

(i don't see how you can buy a house with something like this on your credit)

peace,

My advice is as above pay the bill or alternatively you may be able to take advantage of free trials from ISP's like AOL (if they have free trials in the US). In the UK AOL give you two months free on dial up (very slow :o ).

You can of course subscribe to another cable ISP, but any debt you have with this one will show up on your credit history.

I can not believe you are ignorante enough to post this, the answer is obvious, pay your bills, and stop being a DEAD BEAT.

Yep pay the bill or set up a pay plan of some sort. You should have inquired about a bill after the 1st or 2nd month instead of allowing 4 months to pass. ;)
