Why is it that windows media player 9 uses so much cpu usage.I just had it open and it was using over 60%. :o

because it sucks.

It's the program's fault, not your computer's. Try a different media player, like "Media Player Classic".

i use windows media player and it never uses any cpu time. idk what ur both talking about. but if ur looking for a different music player http://www.winamp.com/
It works great and the new version 5 is awesome.
