i have my songs setup up in sepearte folders like this...

My Music
- Band
- - Albums
- - - Songs
-Band
- - Albums
- - - Songs
-Band
- - Albums
- - - Songs

but what my problem is... is that i do NOT have the songs named with the band title in it. i only have the track number and title ( 01 Title ) does this mean that when somebody does a search they can not find my songs because i beleive soulseek (but i could be wrong) checks only the mp3 files name instead of the folders also

if you would like an SS i can do that for you soon enough... thanks

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I do believe when Soulseek scans your files at startup, it also reads the mp3s' tags (that's how it knows the bitrate info).

Therefore, you can name the individual file anything you want, as long as the tag info is intact, search will find it.

Unless I'm wrong about this... ;)
