I am almost done with my DL using BitTornado.
It has created a Doom3 folder in the designated directory for the dL.
Inside are 4 folders with "Rar" files:
1)Doom.3.KEYGEN-RELOADED
1 .info file 1 .sfv file and 1 "rar" file
2)Doom_3_Cheats-RVL
1 .info file 1 .sfv file and 1 "rar" file
3)DOOM.3-RELOADED
THIS one has 1 .info file and 3 other folder labeled: cd1 cd2 and cd3
in each of the "cd" folders are a bunch more "rar" files
4)Doom_III_Manual-FAGDOX
1 .info file 1 .sfv file and 1 "rar" file
Do I need to burn anything onto a CD for install and/or game play??????
or do I unRAR all the files into one directory to play??????????
I am so excited I can hardly wait...........
Your help is GREATLY appreciated
:D :D :D

Unrar then mount the bin/cue with a program such as daemon tool. There's alot of pinned topics on this subject.

Double click the first rar file in each folder and extra the image that pops up. Then use Alcohol 120% to mount the image and install.

It basically means to create the discs on your hd rather than on cd's, you can create virtual drives that the computer thinks are real cd drives which you 'mount' the images on, so your pc thinks that there is cd drive with the cd in it. Ok this would be easier step by step I think............do you have alcohol 120 ?
There is a good guide here (http://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=67574), have a look at it and if you have anything you don't understand then ask in this thread :)

When you install Alcohol it will add a virual drive. When using a virtual drive and image, you have to imagin that they are a real cd and a cd-rom. Mounting is like inserting a real cd in a cd-rom.
EDIT: Beat me to it but I think my description is better :P

Yep, usually first or last disc. Since you have to 'insert' disc one again at the end for it to finish, it will be on the 1st disc.

ok......I do not have Alcohol 120.
Could I unpack the files into a folder on my HD and then burn them onto CD for the install????
I did this with "Vice City" and it worked great...ya think it would work for doom 3??

You can just burn the images to cds. Open up Nero or other burning program and it should have an opting to burn images.
