For some reason I always want to call Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Easy Tiger Steady Dragon.

My vote goes to Carry On Up The Khyber because of the end scene where they are getting bombed but carry on regardless. :01:

whats that film with micheal caine where they struggle across the desert, blow some important stuff up. then the end is a really cool anti climax cos the just get shot by their own side and the shootist just gets told "don't do that again".?

i love those old war films :D

It comes with hand signals as well.

"Easy Tiger" - Halt traffic with right hand.

"Steady Dragon" - Halt traffic with left hand.

In the general area of the Kwai if memory serves.

It definitely goes over the River Kwai - which is not in Japan.

Both movies have their merits. Tiger is arty and spectacular although I never really identified with the main characters and thus felt the movie lacked a certain depth.

Khyber is a classic of its genre -albeit a very silly genre. However, Syd James' cackle as Sir Rough-Diamond does, on balance, give it the edge.
