Game Resolutions

Whenever I play a game with any resolution the whole screen is off center (except a few) and not aligned with my monitor. Is this normal and is there anyway to change this? Or does this always happen?

i dont get the prob,maybe check settings in you g/fx card properties...you could also use the buttons on the monitor...

If the resolution changes, it maye do this. With mine I have it at 1024x768. Right now I have it as far as it will go to the left and there is still about a half inch gap that is black area over there (image is also all the way to the right with no gap). And when a game starts, its usually in 800x600. So the whole image will go off to the left.
