Shareaza Connecting Too Edonkey2000 Problem.

I've got shareaza for al ong time now and it works quite good i must say. Lately i have been concentrating on the edonkey server it connects in the network tab, and it works. Now i have Emule, who can connect too several other edonkey servers, and now shareaza uses those too. But the downloading has been really crappy lately. I've been downloading Doom 3 from it and got 2 CD's the 3rd one however doesn't go any further than 97% and that pisses me off. I've been trying for days to get it going again but nothing so far. I can see that the sources are all from emule 0.43b (more than a thousand) and are requesting but none ever connect. Can someone assist? Perhaps know some edonkey servers that can connect properly? help files i can go through or maybe you can help directly?

etc. you get the idea. Anyways, I decided to look up some of the unfamiliar terms and found out who they were. It turns out that most of the people that my blocklist is blocking is ip addresses from colleges. I am using the blocklist manager with 12 out of 13 sources checked.

This may be the problem in your case, many of the sources have your ip addresse blocked. I recomend anonx.com or findnot.com to solve this problem with the socks 5 proxy over the vpn. I could also assist myself if you send me the ed2k link. Just post it to the site here and maybe someone else could assist. I am running Overnet 0.52. If me and you can connect, then we know that the networks are all the same or that they are all interconnected somewhat like a telephone line. (overnet, ed2k, edonkey, shereaza, emule, emule +, hybrid, etc).

Hiya.. Right im new to shareaza and it lets me connect to Gnutella2 and Gnutella1 but its not connecting to eDonkey and know its taking ages to download anything and i dont know what to do cause my mates made a look n hes had shareaza for a ages n he dont know why it's not connecting.. If anyone know what to do can u HELP me plz thanks

Oh, and the problem might be that it's not 100% complete, people that are sharing it might be missing the rest of the pieces :( Try rapidcarp or megauplad for the 3rd CD...Google ....
