The Inquirer says they did NOT cancle is, and it will be available in september

Whenever we file links like this, another company will ask us: "Don’t you think that this is from Nvidia or vice versa that wants to spread the rumour?"
Well, therefore, we've asked around and got the real story.
It would have been nice of them to tell us who they got the real story from.
I think it is very unlikely that Nvidia would try to spread a rumour like this, it has appeared from too many regular members on Rage3D, and after all that is an ATI fan club.
Looks to me like Ati can't meet their performance promises with old technology after all. Well, September is only weeks away, we'll soon find out.

if i was ati i'd cancel it too. the 6800 series has more to offer with the new tech. ati needs to do some changing, imo. ;)
