Soulseek is a great app for downloading music, especially if you are after getting full albums.

You'll find that in general people have better organised share folders and there is even a KLF room on there which would be a good place to start off if you have any questions regarding the program and how to sort your own files into a more organised format (if you haven't already.)

There are several version numbers you can get (later ones are perhaps less stable) so I would start with the latest stable version: Soulseek 152 (http://www.slsknet.org/download.html)

Speeds in general are slower though 1kbs would be excessively slow even for Soulseek. This is due to the fact that you can only download from one source.

The slower speeds are the pay off for the "better" mp3s I guess. Though to me I find it is better to wait that extra bit of time for a genuine file than get 20 fakes at lightening speeds...

This is what I like to hear. The last thing Soulseek needs right now are more users.

I find a lot of full albums .rar's and album wraps on Overnet and the downloads are quite quick.
The only problem is lately someone has flooded the network with porn films under chart film titles.
