how could somebody walk into this movie expecting good science fiction? as soon as the name Paul W.S. Anderson was revealed as the director, everyone shoulda known it'd suck. Alien 3 & 4 were mistakes 'cause they hired good directors who just weren't right for making Alien movies. this time the studio decided to take a giant smelly crap on the series by handing it to the guy who made Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil. :rolleyes:

The First Alien Movie was the best and the 2 predator movies were awsome... This movie isn't out yet in Australia and i'm not going pay $10 2 see it but i will download it... If it's any good then i will give fox my $10 and then add it to my Alien and preditor collection... I heard that it was good for the budget and for the actors... the script was awsome i read the script so if u guys think it sucked then it must 2 be either the producers or the director... Now i quite licked Mortal Combat 1 and 2 and i liked resident evil so the director can't be that bad...

alien 3 was okay, alien 4 suxed though. blah, Im too lazy to put up another defense argument for AVP again, as I have done a a few other forums already :P maybe later.

well, just got back from the theatre. yeah, i go to the theatre&#39;s to watch cg movies... anyway, i voted right after i watched the movie too. i voted for the aliens. imo i thought that the predators got their asses handed to them. Not if they go into some sort of &#39;deep sleep&#39; before their long space journey...and the hybrid is going to have the best qualities of both species. :01:

i saw it. was ok. forget the first half of the movie as it&#39;s useless. al the matters is the last 20mins or so....and the jamacain pred was a badass. the hybrid was a known fact, you know they had to do it...too bad we didnt see it grown tho :( and the predators would kick the living hell out of that thing, cause you know the alien isnt gonna be as slender as it usually is, it&#39;ll be a lil more bulky and illmovable. all and all i gotta say i think the aliens did much better than expected, i thought it&#39;d be one sided but it wasnt.

yeah, i&#39;m going with the last 10 mins of the movie though. and to ur comment on the new hybrid not being a good fight i think ur wrong. not only will it have the mobility of an alien, acid for blood, and now able to carry weapons with cloaking. shit, he&#39;s gonna be unstoppable&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; :01:

I thought it wasnt too bad to be honest, woollen acting from the humans but it was passable.....

Pred teaming up with an unarmed woman was a little suspect but in Pred 2 it was shown they don&#39;t kill unarmed women/pregnant women so I guess its passable.

Plus if you played AVP2 it had a Predalien in it and it was bastard hard to kill, would make a great sequel.

And the Queen fight was superb.....they overused slow motion bullet time with the facehuggers but it didn&#39;t ruin the atmosphere too much.

I would have thought the other two preds would be harder to kill, they went down pretty easy.
