Using K-Lite 2.43 but thinking of trying another file sharing program. Sadly, WAY too stupid  to use something hi-tech like imesh, or bittorent. What would you folks recommend for something that's easy like K-lite?

Thanks.

Are these both FT clients? Remember, not kidding when I say I don't understand the majority of this stuff.
Which of the two is MOST similar to KL?
Do you think it's BETTER than KL?

Thanks.

I should also mention that I mainly use KL for dl's of video (tv, movies) and comic books. RARELY music. That stated, which is the choice to go with?

No, no, no my friend. I appreciate the feedback but your obviously not reading the entire history of this post. robnyt D-U-M-B :frusty: ! Wish I was tech-savvy enough to use those sites, but can't come close to understanding how to use them. Looking for something EXCEEDINGLY similar to the ease of KL for dl movies.

You'll be hardpressed to find anything as easy as imesh or kazaa for movies and such. Bittorrent's actually easier than you think. Install a client and just download a torrent from a site. If you need help, contact me via pm or IM (icpgr8milenko).

Is emule considered to be Fasttrack? Reason I keep harping back to Kazaa is how simple it is. Type name of desired file into search field and click GO. Even a dope like me can do that.

No it's NOT fasttrack (thank god) :01:

You dont even have to type anything at all, use sites with verifieds movies sharethefiles.com is one of the best. Browse or Search the database, click a link and the download will start.

Ares is most like Kazaa. But better programs are Bittorrent, and Soulseek. Emule is good also.

If you are after comics, I would suggest Direct Connect. It is not part of the fasttrack network, but reading your posts, it is like Kazaa with a chat feature.

personally, i like BT myself. but i've heard others who've tried DC and Emule and they liked it. SO my recommendation is to just go out there and see what you like best. it doesn't hurt to try ^_^

Easy Interface and nice program, connecting to the Gnutella and OpenFT networks: KCeasy
http://kceasy.com

Also Ares: easy to use interface but remember to uncheck Navhelper during installation (Spyware).
