Sp1 For Xp

whats does it actully fix up ive had no problems with XP so whats the point of upgrading when it will create bugs

HERE (http://search.microsoft.com/default.asp?IntCat=0&Boolean=ALL&Nq=new&qu=sp1&ig=1&siteid=us/products/windows/windowsxp) is microsofts list of info. I had another page that gave a good break down, but can not find it. You could do a search on google also.
When I installed XP Pro I thought it was very buggy to say the least, I didnt care for it and uninstalled.
Then I thought I would give it another chance and the 2nd time around I got SP1 and it made a world of difference. There were so many changes I dont know where to start...lol.

Yup, it fixed some bugs for me too. It also cut boot-up time by AT LEAST half.

IMO it's a must.

even if you've had no problems with it you should get it because it fixes some MAJOR security flaws that are well known by now and you are very exposed :angry:

It allowed me to play GTA3, without the SP1 it wouldn't run correctly!
